TOUR CONDITIONS

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY. DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDITIONS. RECEIPT OF ANY PAYMENT INDICATES YOUR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS STATED BELOW.

 

Pricing Conditions

All pricing is per-person based on double-occupancy per room
Quad and Triple Occupancy available by request.

 

All prices are per-person based on double occupancy per room, unless otherwise noted.  Total pricing includes taxes, gratuities, Prices subject to change at any time without deposit.  Prices not guaranteed until rooms are booked. Room selection is required at the time of booking.  Air fare and Airline baggage fees are not included in the rates.

Deposit Info

A $170 deposit per person is required to reserve a villa. A PayPal transaction fee applies to credit card deposits made via the website. These fees are additional and are NOT applied to the purchase of the trip. The following are the deposit requirements

Package Type Deposit Required

Deposits and payments are for the ski and entertainment packages. Some hotel fees are additional and are not included in the package price. Additional fees apply..

A monthly deposit is required to maintain a reservation. Payments can be made via M.D. Ski sponsor, designated travel agencies or through PayPal on the website. Full payments can be made through sponsors by check. Full payments can be made via check or via PayPal.

All fees, deposits and payments ARE NON-REFUNDABLE however are fully transferable to a guest you select. Travel insurance is highly suggested. Payments made after December 31, 2015 is subject to a $20 late fee. Names changes are allowed.

Early Registration Payments:

Early registration payments are fully refundable until August 1, 2015. After August 1, 2015, the regular refund policy will be in effect.

Balance and Payments:

Final balance must be paid by December 31, 2015.  All bookings are based on availability and confirmed after full payment is secured.

Installment Payments

Monthly installment payments for the trip balance are required on the 1st of each month after making the initial deposit. Passengers are required to make additional installment payments not less than $100 per payment. Full payments can be made at anytime.

Taxes, Fees, and Gratuities

PayPal fees, gratuities for optional products/services, non inclusive trip activities and additional services purchased during the trip are not included in the advertised rate.). Resort fees are subject to change.

Dining and activities Options:

The buffet meal program is included in your package. Alcoholic beverages are not included in the package except where noted. Drink tickets are included.

Trip Insurance

It is recommended that trip cancellation insurance be purchased. M.D. Ski Express does not sell or offer trip insurance. Consult the internet for trip insurance products.

Entertainment

Your entertainment package will include All M.D. Ski branded  parties, and admission to private M.D. Ski events.

RESPONSIBILITY & RELEASE
M.D. Ski Express Island Jam, Inc, the trip organizer trading as M.D. Ski Express , is hereinafter referred to as M.D. Ski within this document M.D. SKI hereby gives notice that M.D. SKI does not own or operate any motor coaches, aircraft, cruise lines, catering facilities, hotels or attractions and that all arrangements have been made with motor coach companies, hotels, and other independent suppliers to provide you with the services purchased in the tour upon the express condition that we shall not be liable for any injury, accident, loss, damage, delay, bankruptcy, or any irregularity which may occur either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts of default of any person or company engaged in providing transportation or other services. M.D. SKI does not accept any liability for the actions or omissions of these Independent suppliers over whom M.D. SKI has no direct control. In the absence of negligence on M.D. SKI’s part, therefore EACH PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES M.D. SKI for losses or damages arising from physical or emotional injury, property damages, or other economic damage caused by such factors beyond M.D. SKI’s control. Because of unforeseen circumstances, M.D. SKI reserves the right to make any change, with or without notice, In the event of inclement weather, mechanical difficulties, or other events beyond the control of M.D. SKI that cause delays, It SHALL NOT BE the responsibility of M.D. SKI to pay for resulting costs and expenses to group participants, including additional lodging and meals. Furthermore, It SHALL NOT BE the responsibility of M.D. SKI to reimburse the group for tour inclusions missed resulting from such delay. Optional activities are offered as advertised unless weather or other conditions make it impossible for individuals to participate. M.D. SKI assumes no risk, liability, or responsibility for incidents or accidents which may occur to an individual while participating in any activity. Many activities are subject to a minimum participation as dictated by the operator and available transportation. Prices for all optional activities are subject to change with or without notice. The Group Organizer (Sponsors) acts solely as a representative of a smaller  group and is NOT an employee, representative or agent of M.D. SKI. It is the responsibility of the Group Organizer (Sponsor) to assure that each group member receives the proper “Statement of Responsibilities, Release, Terms and Conditions” and other policies as represented by M.D. SKI. THIS TOUR IS GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND. In the unlikely event a dispute cannot be amicably resolved and a court action is necessary, it is agreed that all disputes and demands shall be heard in Prince Georges County, M.D.

TOUR CONDITIONS
M.D. SKI reserves the right to adjust pick-up location, departure time to add passengers to fill the empty seats on the bus. M.D. SKI also reserves the right to cancel the tour for lack of sufficient participation. Change or delay in pickup time and/or pickup location is not grounds for cancellation. The published pickup location shall be accommodated for groups paid in full and consisting of a minimum of 20 passengers, Groups with less than 20 passengers may be required to meet at an alternate location and/or time. Whenever two or more groups are combined to fill a bus, there is a probability that pickup times will change. M.D. SKI takes photos of their guest throughout each trip/event. Guest agree that M.D. SKI can use any photos taken of them for the purpose of marketing and promotion of M.D. SKI tours, events and services.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
All monies are transferable to a person you designate. M.D. Ski does not assist with the transfer of names. In the event of funds transfer, the guest must supply the name of the person replacing them. M.D. Ski does not provide names of guests for transfer. Name changes and replacements are accepted. Reservations cannot be confirmed unless secured by the timely arrival of required deposits and final payments and rooming lists due to M.D. SKI no later than 60 days prior. Reservations not paid in full shall be placed on a “space available basis” and are subject to cancellation policy.

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
Deposits and final balances with rooming list must be received by M.D. SKI on or before the appropriate due dates. Reservations for time and space cannot be confirmed unless secured by the timely arrival of these required deposits, final payments and rooming lists.  Arrangements shall be made for reservations paid in full, on time and upon the timely receipt of the final rooming lists to M.D. SKI. In the event payments are received without a written explanation of the number of people the money represents, M.D. SKI will divide the total money received at that time by the per person deposit amount on your group confirmation to determine the space requested. At that time, the number of deposited passengers is subject to cancellation fees.

Each trip participant gives the group leader (Sponsor) or travel agent who is acting on their behalf, the right to make decisions regarding last minute changes in the tour without the necessity to contact each participant prior to departure. Final payments and rooming lists are due to M.D. SKI no later than 60 days prior to your departure date. Reservations whose required deposits, final payments and rooming lists are not received by appropriate due dates will be confirmed in the order of receipt of payments or at the discretion of M.D. SKI. Reservations requested over the phone, in person, or as indicated on the rooming list, which are not paid in full shall be placed on a “space available basis” and may be subject to cancellation. It is solely the responsibility of the group leader (Sponsor) or travel agency to submit all payments and rooming lists to M.D. SKI so that they are received by M.D. SKI on or before their due date. Final payments made within 30 days of trip departure must be in the form of money order, wire transfer or bank transfer. All Travel Agents are required to make payments with travel agency checks prior to 30 days of departure. There is a $35 charge for all returned checks.

NO REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES
Refunds or allowances will not be made for transportation services or other portions of the tour which are unused on or after the tour departure date. In the event of an Act of God or inclement weather, M.D. SKI reserves to right to cancel or reschedule the tour for another time. Refunds made by M.D. SKI are made on the specific condition that the acceptance of such refunds by the participant serves to release M.D. SKI from all claims by the group leader or tour participant.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES, ENTERTAINMENT, AND ITINERARIES
The decision to participate in an optional activity is solely between the tour participant and the operator of the optional activity. M.D. SKI assumes no risk, liability, or responsibility for incidents or accidents which may occur to an individual while participating in the activity. Some optional activities are subject to a minimum participation requirement and may not be available at all due to inclement weather or other Acts of God. M.D. SKI reserves the right to withdraw or change any contracted entertainer. M.D. SKI will provide no reimbursement due to “no show” entertainers or change in Itineraries.  The hotel, M.D. Ski Express, or transportation companies, in addition to all other providers of services, reserve the right to remove a person engaged in illegal or disorderly conduct from the tour without refund. M.D. Ski is under no obligation to offer payment for transportation to any individual or persons removed from the trip.

CONCERT
M.D. SKI cannot guarantee the appearance of any performer due to Acts of God, missed flights or other situations that may interfere with the Artists performance. If M.D. SKI is given adequate notice by an artist that he/she is unable to make the appearance then M.D. SKI shall attempt to provide a replacement.

INSURANCE
Passengers are strongly advised to protect themselves with insurance. Optional cancellation, accident, health, and baggage insurance are not available through M.D. Ski Express.

LEGAL AGE FOR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Each tour participant must be of the minimum drinking age allowed by the State in which the destination is located to participate in the functions or tour inclusions which contain alcoholic beverages, AND EACH TOUR PARTICIPANT MUST BE PREPARED TO SHOW 2 TYPES OF LEGAL IDENTIFICATION (ONE OF WHICH MUST INCLUDE A PHOTOGRAPH) TO GAIN ADMITTANCE INTO ANY FUNCTIONS OR EVENTS WHICH SERVE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. Each liquor licensee is under legal obligation to comply with all applicable laws. To that end, each liquor licensee is required by law to not serve alcoholic beverages to individuals who do not meet the standard of service even though they may have paid for the alcoholic beverage inclusion as part of their tour.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS
Room assignments are made by the hotel personnel. Per person prices are stipulated by the number of people in the room. 1 room villas as Double occupancy (2 people per room) and does not guarantee that the room has two double beds. All rooms have a minimum of one queen bed and one Murphy Bed. Triple and Quad rooms will have sofa beds or Murphy beds, and one queen bed. Two bed villas are subject to availability. Bed count is listed per villa as advertised by the resort.. Accommodation requests for single occupancy are taken on as available basis.
